Marc Barlow — Director & Founder

With over 30 years of dedicated lending experience, Marc Barlow is the Director and Founder of Mortgage Broker Sydney. Marc began his banking career in 1990 within a UK Building Society, gaining an early, hands-on understanding of traditional credit structures. After moving to Australia, he spent several years working across various retail banking roles, mastering the intricacies of the local Australian mortgage market.

In 1999—well before mortgage broking became the preferred path for Australian home buyers—Marc foresaw a major industry shift. He recognized that consumers deserved independent advice, real choice, and a genuine advocate in their corner rather than being limited to a single bank’s shelf. Taking the plunge, he established himself as an independent mortgage broker and hasn’t looked back since.

Today, Marc leads the team with a commitment to transparency, clear communication, and sharp rate negotiation. He specialises in navigating complex lending scenarios for first-home buyers, upgraders, and seasoned property investors, bringing three decades of proven market insight to every transaction.
